Dr. Patrick “Tyson” Blatchford is an experienced cosmetic surgeon and the owner, CEO and chief surgeon of BelleSculpt Oklahoma. Education and Surgical Training
Dr. Blatchford’s path to medicine began in his hometown of Arkansas City, Kansas. He earned an Associate of Science degree from Cowley County Community College before continuing his undergraduate studies at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.
At Southwestern College, he pursued studies in biology, chemistry and molecular biology. He later earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City.
Surgical Residency at Carilion Clinic
Dr. Blatchford completed his surgical residency at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. His residency provided broad experience in general surgery, minimally invasive procedures, trauma care, critical care and the management of complex surgical conditions.
During his residency, he received several honors recognizing his clinical knowledge, research and commitment to medical education.
These included the Outstanding Instructor of Medical Students Award, the Bruce Baird Award for research in trauma and critical care, and the Gold Foundation’s Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award.

Through these roles, he has helped educate and mentor future healthcare professionals while continuing his own commitment to surgical advancement and lifelong learning.
Dr. Blatchford has also received multiple Preceptor of the Year awards from Wichita State University for his work with future medical professionals.
His leadership experience includes serving as chairman of the South Central Kansas Regional Trauma Committee and as medical director for Arkansas City Fire and EMS.
