BREAST LIFT, OR MASTOPEXY

A More Lifted Shape Without Assuming You Need More Volume

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight changes, aging and genetics can change breast position over time. A breast lift removes excess skin and reshapes supporting tissue to raise the breast and nipple into a more balanced position.

Position

Raise breasts that sit lower than you prefer and reposition the nipple when appropriate.

Shape

Reshape existing tissue for a firmer, more supported contour.

Proportion

Improve balance between the breasts and the rest of your figure without automatically adding an implant.

Breast Lift

Best suited to concerns about sagging, nipple position or stretched skin. A lift reshapes and repositions tissue but does not primarily increase breast size.

Lift + Implants

May be discussed when you want both a higher position and more fullness or projection, especially in the upper breast.

Lift + Fat Transfer

For selected patients, transferred fat may add subtle volume while a lift addresses position and skin laxity.

PERSONALIZED PLANNING

Is a Breast Lift Right for You?

You may want to explore a lift if your nipples sit lower than they once did, your breasts have lost firmness, or a bra provides most of the lift you see in clothing.

  • You like your current volume but want a higher shape
  • Pregnancy or weight change altered breast position
  • One breast sits lower than the other
  • You understand scars are part of breast lift surgery

Your Surgical Evaluation

Candidacy is not determined by age or cup size alone. Your BelleSculpt surgeon evaluates breast shape, skin quality, nipple position, health history and goals before recommending an incision pattern and plan.

SURGERY AND HEALING

What to Expect

Plan

Your care team reviews your goals and health history. The surgeon then maps a plan based on your anatomy and the amount of lifting needed.

Reshape

Excess skin is removed, breast tissue is reshaped and the nipple and areola may be repositioned. Incisions vary by the degree of correction.

Recover

Swelling, support garments and activity limits are expected. Your team provides individualized instructions and monitors healing at follow-up visits.

Incisions create permanent scars that generally soften and fade over time. Results and recovery vary.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Breast Lift FAQs

Will a breast lift make my breasts smaller?

A lift reshapes existing tissue rather than primarily removing volume. Some patients perceive a change in bra fit, but reduction is a different procedure.

Can a lift be combined with implants?

Will I have scars?

What about future pregnancy or breastfeeding?
